Pump for Sale

I have a Quiet One 4000 for sale. It is 3 months new. I need just abit more flow for my 120 so am moving to a Quiet One 6000. This is a very quiet pump and dependable. I have been running a Quiet One 3000 on my 65 reef for awhile.

Not trying to ruin anything for anyone, but have you considered adding a second QO 4000 instead? I bought 2 for my closed loop for the simple reason they're so much more energy efficent than the larger Quiet One pumps. 1017 gph for 50 watts with the 4000 and 1506 gph for 140 watts with the 6000. Almost 3 times the energy costs and heat added to the tank for 1.5x the flow. Just something to consider.

If I had an easy way to do it I would. I need a srronger pump for my return so that my gravity fed skimmer can get more water.

I think the easy way is to setup the two 4000's into a y union with the single end going to the return.
