Pump for sale

Oh, i don't know about that, i use the same pump...(well, not the same pump:) ) just one of the same brand and size on my 90 gallon for a closed loop, plus 2 tunze pumps in the tank. Plus use a mag 18 for a return pump :) :) :)......yes, i have lots of water flow:) (course the mag 18 also feeds a chiller, frag tank and a couple of chemical reactors and uv light.

Nice pump, that is a big one. I have been looking for a pump for my 150, but this may be too big. How quiet is this pump. I just wander if it would be too big, if I run my skimmer and return off of it, plus a carbon reactor.

It's not that loud really like I thought it was going to be..... You can put a ball valve to turn it down and you can use it to run multiple things if you wanted/needed to.

What would you consider the loudness to be like. The aquarium will be next to a bedroom and living room, so I would like my tank to be quiet.

I have the snapper version of this pump running in my living room. For what this pump puts out the little noise it produces is awesome in my opinion. My Deltec skimmer with a eheim pump is louder. IF you have need for this much flow you won't find a quieter pump.

For your 150 gallon tank.. you would fall in love with his pump. As mikemartinez said you can use a ball valve to cut it back if needed. Doing this it also uses less electricity. It would easily run everything you needed it to. At the price he has it listed its a steal. He could actually get more for it if he posted in the regular for sell forum and did shipping.

It runs quieter than the Remora Pro skimmer I had running on my 29 gal a while back so it's not bad at all.. It's just that when I saw it the first time I thought it was gonna be really loud... Maybe because I had never used an external pump before..
