Pump Impellers

Forgot to mention the Rio 2100 he ran for a year so it has 2 years of running time, and yes I do do a vingar soak and check for depri, quarterly, I was/am an operating engineer so I know all about pumps.

Is it propper mantenance to replace impellers in a pumps life span and does it make a difference?

An impeller will lose some of its magnetic strength after some time although I doubt it will make that much of a difference in the normal pump's performance. I said normal meaning you;'re using the pump to pump water.

Now if you were modding the pump into a stream like pump then the magnet strength makes all the difference in the world whether our impeller will spin the propeller or not.
