Reef, Crustacean, Puffers
The circuit in my study went off the other day and after playing around I figured out it was due to the pump on my skimmer. To test it more I plugged it into an outlet with a GFI and sure enough it tripped the GFI as well.
My question is: can this be fixed or do I need to buy a new pump?
My thinking is that it's related to the cord. Perhaps it got pulled some while I was moving things around or cleaning the skimmer as this happened just after a good cleaning.
Anyone had this happen?
I am waiting for it to dry before I really mess with it to much but so far I can't see a way into the unit. Electrical is the one DIY I am good at and if I can get into it I might be able to fix it if it's related to the cord like I think.
