Pump keeps falling off

The inner piece of my VorTech (the one that is in the tank) keeps falling off.

I don't use the spacer just received my new orange rubber gasket you guys sent me because my other one melted. Thank you very much BTW.

Since then, the pump will start sliding downward and eventually, wind up on the tank's bottom.

The new gasket is almost exactly the same. What 's causing this?

Was your pump in here for repair recently? If so was it just the wet side or was it the entire pump? Since you do not use the pin spacer I assume your glass is greater than 1/2 inch thick. It could be one of the magnets is weakening. The reason I asked it the pump was here recently is the magnet strength is tested thoroughly and all pumps run at least 12 hours over night before shipping back out. Let me know and I may have to ask the pump be sent in so we can find out the cause of the slipping.

I have not sent it in for repair.

My glass is 3/4" thick.

How do I go about getting the pump to you?

Send the pump to Icecap 9B South Gold Drive Hamilton NJ 08691. Include copy of this thread.
Also DO NOT ship pump with both halves attached together with out at least 1/4 inch padding between halves. Failure to do so may cause damage.
