Pump Noise

All, my pump on my RC8-2 Euroreef skimmer just started making this awful noise. Anyone else ever have this issue? I just cleaned it not 3 weeks ago, any ideas what it might be?

Well I took it off, cleaned it again, put it back together and so far so good. I have noticed the shaft has a few wear spots on it, can you buy just a shaft for that pump?

yep its the 5000 model right
you can order them from euro or the asm website

Sometimes some stray marco algae may get sucked into my skimmer pump. I've got to check the intake every so often to make sure its clean.
