pump question fan/no fan (loudness)

I originally got a little giant 4 for my return. It had great performance but the fan for it was too loud. I replaced it with a velocity t4. It is quiet but it doesn't have near the performance. I guess the little giant handled headpressure much better. I am looking for an external pump with a bit more performance than the t4 while being just as quiet which means basically a water cooled unit. I doubt air cooled units will ever be very quiet. It is hard to tell via the vendor sites what units are fan cooled.

I had a velocity pump but replaced it with a GRI because the velocity was heating up my water too much. The GRI is the only external pump with a fan (air cooled) that I've dealt with that isnt oppresively loud. all you can hear is the fan, and that is quieter than the fans in my canopy.

have you happened to see a decible rating on those pumps? I know they say the t4 is about 30 roughly. So wanted to get an idea of howmuch louder i can predict it to be. Right now my canopy fans are the loudest part of my tank, that is until the chiller comes on. I will eventually move the chiller to another room but have to make the time to drill some holes in the floor etc.
