Pump rebuilding on Little Giant

I have a little giant on my tank. Lately when I turn it off it won't start up again. Mike has to rotate the fan blade to get it going again. I think it needs a cleaning inside. Am I right or is it something else?

Yup, likely a bit of gunk build up inside the impeller well. They are easy to break down and clean, just be careful with the shaft, it's ceramic.

He cleaned the impeller, but that doesn't help. It's the motor that has a hard time starting up.

Does is have a capacitor? I just replaced my starting capacitor on a hammerhead and its working fine.
