Pump recomendation

I Am looking at replacing my Tunze pumps for the new Ecotech QD. I was looking for help in selection of pumps. I have a 68 gallon tank that is 3 foot long. I was thinking that 2 MP40's would be the way to go with them mounted to flow length way. My tank glass is too thick for the MP10's by looking at the Ecotech website.
My tank is a sps bare bottom tank.
