Pump selection help

I have a 180 that is 48x30x30 and I am looking to change out my vortechs for tunze pumps. Would 2 6215s controlled by an apex be too much? Not enough?

I was also considering 6105s but the magnet they come with is only for .6 inch thickness and my tank is .75 inches.

Wave flow only is not the best way to do it, ideally wave flow should be combined with a directional current so I would prefer the 2 6105's over the Waveboxes and only one wavebox would be needed if that was the way you were to go. Regarding the magnet holders, the 6205.501 magnetic extension replaces the outside magnet portion and boosts the hold to 3/4". Alternatively, you may have a thinner material overflor in each corner and both magnet halves are waterproof and this may allow you to use the stock magnets. The ultimate would be a wavebox and 2 6105's but short of that, the 2 6105's in interval mode would be the way to go.

Thanks for the reply roger, I decided to go with 3 6105s.

Also thanks for the idea of using the overflow walls, that will work pefect for me!
