Pump Size

What is the general gph that I should try and turn my tank over I am looking to buy a new pump for the 125 I am setting up and I am not sure what size to get for the best productivity.

Are you asking what size return pump? Or what kind of in-tank pumps/powerheads?
Return pump gph should match the gph of the equipment you have in your sump.
GPH or turnover for flow in you tank depends on what you want to keep.

+1 to Joey's suggestion. You're best off going with a 750-900 gph return and something (Koralia's, Streams, Vortechs) to move water around in the display. You don't want to outpace your overflows, and it's hard to get a whole lot of useful flow from a return line, anyway.

Put me in Joey's camp as well. I only use my return to push a little water behind my rock, the rock and the front of the tank get their flow from the tunzes.
