Pump Suggestions for a 96x24x30

Hi,
I have finally decided to try the Tunze line and would be most appreciative of suggestions for powerheads for this this tank. It will be a mixed reef and I would like to control through an Apex, assuming that it really is true compatibility. Thanks in advance for any advice you can offer.

A pair of 6105's is likely the best bet. Out of the box a 6105 can only mount on glass up to 1/2" thick, for thicker material you will need a booster magnet or stronger magnet pair.

I have a 96x30x30 and 4 6105s. I plan on sps dominated. The flow is great but once the tank is full of rock and coral, two would not be enough. Much more quiet than vortechs. Don't follow the crow and let the best in life pass you buy, get tunze!

One more thing. I have 3/4 inch panels and you can get them to stay on but they are not very secure. I feel the 6105s being advertised for over 500gal should have better magnets especially at a $330 price point. What magnets do we need to upgrade to? What is the cost for them?

The price would go up dramatically with bigger magnets, in the past this was possible, China has manipulated the pricing of rare earth magnets to the extent that it is no longer feasible (until late 2011 we included magnets for 3/4" and the options were, big price increase or lower strength magnets and same price). China is the sole source of rare earth magnets for all practical purposes (97% of global supply) and they have manipulated supply so the price has increased 600% at its peak though it is now down to about 400% and if you make your product in China you get a 20% discount (we don't).

You would need extension 6205.501 for 3/4" this is a stronger outside magnet only. They are about $50.
