Pump with hose inlet

Before I start DIY, I want to pick your brains to see if my desired solution isn't already simply for sale somewhere. Because my DIY solution generally suck. ☺

I want a little pump that not only has a tube mount for the outlet, but also a tube on the inlet. With such a device and some rigid (airline) tubing I would be able to suck off undesirable pests, without the need to starta siphon.

hi. the sicce syncra silent series of pumps do come with tube adapters for both in and outlet. pumps have to be primed doh to get the pump going.

I just have a maxi jet with a 4" piece of vinyl tubing stuck on the inlet. Aside from the priming part it works great. Makes a great sump vacuum, too.

Yes! That will work. Just ordered a small maxi jet from Ebay. Didn't know a pump with such a narrow inlet existed. Thanks!
