pumps and pods

COMAS Rocks!
As anyone had problems with their return pumps chompin up their pods? Reason I ask is that in my refugium I have oodles and oodles of the larger copepods running around, but I never see them in the display. All the other "pods" make their daily appearances in my tank but not these particular onces, I believe them to be garammus shrimp (maybe spelled wrong?). Anyways, I'm using a CAP something or other for my return pump, little under 300gph. naturally I'll upgrade my return pump for my 150g tank project but I wanted to make sure their are not any pumps I should avoid that may hurt the pods journey to my fishes bellies.
comments, questions, anybody?

I would say about 70% of the pods make it through the pump unharmed, the other 30% are just easy prey. The pods in the display are just very good at hiding. If you want to do a test, place a fish in the sump, and watch how fast it looks like there isn't one pod in there. Then take the fish out and watch how fast they all pop back out.

I completely agree dugg. There is a thread like this in the advanced topics forum. There have been many people that have had baby fish make it through pumps. I've had a couple baby mollies make the trip.

Well, If a baby mollie can make it, I guess my large pods shouldn't be a problem, well, as long as the mandarin stays fat like he is now I should be good. Thanks for the replies guys, just the info I was looking for.
