I want a few tunzes to put into my 75g reef to replace my seios and wanted to know a good combo?

I want to be able to put them on a separate wave timer. I also have a sand bed and didn't want that to stir up and have a sand storm.

Just wondering the best pumps.

Thanks

ps.

I was looking at getting 2 6060 or a few 6025's but am not sure wheather they will run on a wave timer.

Honestly neither of these pumps are good choices for a wave timer as they cannot handle the rapid on/off cycles and are not ment to be put on a wavemaker. The 6025/45 min recommended switching time is 15 to 30 minutes longer the better asi t would be less wear. The 6060 and 6080 should not be switched off/on more than once per hour.

I dont think you would have a problem with any of the nanos. If you wanted random flow a pair of 6055s on a controller would work quite well.

I have a couple of 6000s in my 75 reef, and they work just fine. Previously had one 6000 and two Turbelle powerheads, and the sand bed wasn't really affected. The tank is an established one, so the sandbed doesn't blow around very much now. I might eventually switch out to the nanostreams due to their size and use the controller I have now, but there's only so much $$$ in the Tun$e budget....
