pura phoslock

just got in some pura phoslock. heard some good things about its use, was just wondering if there are more users here that have had good results. and ne comments negative or other wise. thnx

I recently bought some as part of my upcoming survey of testing many of the brands of GFO, but I don'thave anything to say about it yet.

Anyone use it?

I have been running it in TLF Phosban reactor for about 3 weeks now. It made my skimmer go nuts the within the first 24hrs, and it started overflowing.

It helped lower my phosphates, but it has not had an impact on the green hair algae growing on my sand. It keeps growing, and I keep exporting!!! I was hoping it would help end the vicious GHA cycle.

I am curious to read your comparisions on the different brands.

I've been using it in my phosban 150 reactor and hasn't made any difference. I'm disappointed in it and I'm going to try phosban media next time.
