I just ordered some purigen I'm trying it because my trats are a little high I'm also doing water changes but it says it also polishes the water so why not give it a try. So do I just put the bag into the sump or should I put it in a phos reactor? I have an extra one.

just put in the sump where it will get a lot of water flow/ contact.

It didn't do too much for my nitrates issue when I had it, but it did polish the water pretty well. FWIW, I won't use it again.
