purple/blue headed tilefish..??

I have always been curious about these fish. Seen them very rarely at the LFS or online. LA Collector's Corner has both available now.

How hardy are they? Long term success??

Temperment? Tankmates?

Any exp. would be great. Thanks...

I have a pair of blue headed tilefish. If you can get them eating frozen food they usually do well. I recently lost a purple tilefish was eating well out in the open and then suddenly died. Purples are great looking fish, but are tougher (IMHO) than the blue heads. Looking to add a purple in the future.

I think they are very pretty! Unfortunately the body shape is so similar to my midas blenny I would be worried about them fighting.

Blue heads are tuffer to keep or tuffer as in hardier..?? I would like either! Any other exp..??
