Purple Firefish Brown Patches

Got some new fish.
3 Green Damsels - All perished. One right away couldnt really tell why. One rapid breathing at bottom of tank. Another jumped out.

I have two Purple Firefish left.

One of the firefish just recently started showing these patches on its side. Any idea what they could be?

They were/are all in my quarantine tank. Ready to be treated.

Any help is appreciated.

Good read. I think you may be dealing with this. I would act immediately with some Formalin baths/dips.
