Purple Flowerpot Question

Greetings.
I dipped a new flower pot in ro/di, and to my amazement a bunch of tiny critters jumped off of it and sank dead. I think they are flat worms. In my amazement, having never seen this before, I took the flower pot out and put it in a small tub of tank water. I thought about it and put it in a fresh tub of ro/di and let it soak for about ten minutes. I then put it in a QT.......... now what?

I think I need to dip it in something more serious. I am also wondering what would be a good method of seeing this through.

Thanks, Brando

I was never sure for how long to dip. Thank you for responding, but I am still am not sure how long is long enough. I have been very lucky not to have had any reason to let anything soak longer that 30 seconds, until now.

The flower pot is a little slow in extending, but I have had worse looking corals come around. Hopefully I didn't fry it too bad, we'll see.

I would never dip a flowerpot or any coral in freshwater. Good luck I hope it lives..

Maybe I'm just old fashion...

Happy Reefing

Today it extended a little better.

Well, everything I have ever bought has gone through a FW dip. I am no Pro but I thought I was doing the best I could. I will look into it more and find me some of that TMPCC. I will still do some sort of de-bugging after seeing flat worms fly off of it. Thanks, G
