Purple gigantea at Jeff's in Orange

I just thought I would let any anemone people out there know that Jeff's in Orange 714-771-2073 has a couple nice ~10"-12" gigantea carpets. Both are in good shape. The one on the left looked better than the one on the right. I didn't check the price so you would have to call.
THESE ARE NOT BEGINNERS ANEMONES! Giant carpets are one of, if not the most difficult clownfish host anemone to keep alive.
I know we have some anemone experts out there that are always on the lookout for healthy specimens and these purple ones seem to be in good shape.

i think i saw them a couple weeks ago. i saw a hole in one of the anemones.

That's good to know. I didn't look that carefully. Small holes can/will heal in heathy anemones, but I wouldn't recommend buying one that had a hole.
If these anemones have been there for two weeks and still look that good, that is a good sign. That is assuming they are the same carpets that you saw.
