Holy close up! Looks great!

Yeah, each head is about the size of a pencil eraser. I got lucky...:)

I've never been able to keep one longer than 6 months and I've been doing this for a long time. I hope you have better luck than I. Very pretty color, perhaps it's of a species that will survive better in captivity.

Sorry ... how tacky of me... I forgot why I posted in the first place ... :(

Those are great images!!!

I've been target feeding it once or twice a week so maybe that helps??

Don't take this personally, but if it's been in there for 6 months, why isn't it's "arms" extended out fully?

Oh geee.....I guess a hermit crawled on it, my Clown thinks its an Anemone, it has PMS....???? throughout the day it is out-in-halfway......Guess that just the way it is!:p

purple gonis have been known to fare much better than the typical long armed green gonis of the past. we still see those green ones quite often, but many folks have been steering away from those impossible to keep and ecologically irresponsible to collect gonis and going with the much hardier reds and purples. Someone in CT has been fragging them quite a bit. I have a red goni frag from SITC in orlando, and has been doing great since January, I recieved it in Feb. the owner kept it for a month before she sol it to me... lemme see if i can dig up a pic...

Great shots, good luck with it.
Luis

thats the one. :)

I hope your luck with it lasts as they do have that horrible survival rate. but then again, ive known plenty of people who have been exceptions to the rule, but you know, still good luck! ;)
