purple gorgonian not open

Hi all,
I have three purple gorgonians in the past have always looked fantastic with full polyp extention waving in the current.Over the last few weeks or so they have not opened.My paramiters are great and the rest of the tank looks incredible.
Any ideas?thanks

I had this happen to me...it's something they do. It could be getting ready to slough off it's top layer of tissue. The first time it happened to mine, I completely freaked out. I've also had mine stay closed for a few days, but came out again. Its puzzling, but I wouldn't worry if everything (lights, water param., etc.) are ok.

I just posted a similar question <A HREF="http://www.reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?s=&postid=8207845#post8207845">here</A>. I'm wondering if perhaps they get tired of the food or the food I am feeding mine does not have enough of the stuff they need in it.
