Purple & Green Gigantea updates

Have you or anyone else following this thread, ordered a Gigantea from Foster & Smith? They occasionally pop up, but they are labeled as all being "tan." Can anyone confirm this?

Thanks.. The green is such a slow acclimater but patience will pay off here me thinkey... Looking better by day day!

I'm torn about adding a blue. I don't want to introduce anything to overload the system and cause these two to have issues, at the same time, if the blue works out, it would be killer looking.

great video - that green really is settling in nicely. that would look sweet with a blue in there as well.

yeah, after reading thru the other threads about treating with antibiotics, i really thing that a new one that is sick could introduce something to your healthy ones if you aren't careful. keep in mind, the two you have are going to get huge some day also. mine is stretching out to almost 2' diameter when it is spreading out in the sunlight.

Those are sweet. You are doing something right considering they are suppose to be very hard to keep happy.

Yup, absolutely agree.. same with people. Introduce a sickley person into the mix and there's a possibility the rest can get sick. It obviously depends on how healthy and resistent the others are, but yea it's a risk.

That's absolutely why I QT'd the green for four days to make sure there was no deflation, or any funny business going on.. Thankfully neither needed treatment
