I mean't what is a good price for purple hairy mushrooms and pink rics I have a chance to buy some and wanted to know the going rate

shrooms $10-$30

Yeah...hard to tell how much is a coral worth without pictures. There are many different types of pink rics with varying coverage and intensities. I think $10 is fair for any shrooms.

Pink Floridas - $20, Pink Yumas - $50-$80

Huff it also depends how many are on the rock that you are thinking of getting, and some pics of the particular kinds of mushrooms would be a big help with the priceing.

I've seen some ugly pink yumas, that I wouldn't even want in my tank for free. Then I've seen some really nice ones before. The nicest I've ever seen the guy wasn't selling. I offered $200, he didn't want to let it go.

So it all depends.

Florida's are usually not pink. If it looks pink, its probably a variantion of orange. Sounds funny but true.

Florida's go from $15-$30 a polyp.

Yuma's can go from $30-?, depending on color / size and of course demand! Since supply is always low, from my experience.

I've been looking for a "nice" pink yuma for over a year.

Regarding the yuma, I just bought a colony of 4 for $140. They ranged from about the size of a nickel to a quarter. I cut the rock and had them on seperate pieces. Sold one to my friend for $35. Someone in his tank ate it. Sadly the same thing happend to 2 of mine. Now I only have one.

So I guess I paid $105 for the one I have now.

One note; mine is more of a redish then a pure pink. Alot of people throw "pink" in there when selling it since pink yumas are more scarce.
