I saw the stomalla crawling across the frag rack so I just grabed him and held it over the micro. The polyp snatched it right up.

Thats a good way to F#*@ that polyp up..& there is no way it would be able to digest that snail. My advice.. Mysis LOL
 
I had a dendro eat a stomatella a couple weeks ago (but it did it on its own in the middle of the night). It started spitting out the shell when I turned the lights on. Part of the snail was still attached, but somehow the dendro manuvered things just right and the shell fell off, but part of the snail was still in the mouth and the dendro slurped the snail meat back in. I wonder if this coral will do the same thing.
 
This was done without my interference. It ate the whole thing minus the shell and did not spit the legs out. I imagine that with a stomatella, it would spit out the shell too. Crazy. Did it keep it all down?
