I forgot what he said, but he said they do grow faster in less light. He said the rings become more distorted and open larger when shaded a bit from reaching for more light but grow faster.

The frag I have has a baby and a couple buds on it. The guy I got it from said he grew 18 polyps in 6 months. He also said it grew fastest when shaded a bit.

Mine have grown painfully slow!
I bought a 1 polyp frag from ebay (the same guy that's selling these now:http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=400029990538&ssPageName=ADME:B:WNA:US:1123)

That was probably three months ago and I now have two polyps!
It took that long to split.
I have a third polyp on the way, but they grow really slow.

That is the problem when you start with just one. The more you have the faster they grow.
