Purple SPS question/suggestion (help)

I am having a problem with purple corals! My reds, yellow, greens, pink, and blues look just fine, but purples look more brown. I am running 3 400w 10k Reeflux bulbs with 2 T5 actinics(1plus and 1 pure actinic) The corals and fish look very natural, not blue and dark or the other way of being yellow....it looks great, except my purples. I have lots of flow from my 2 tunze 6100's and my 2 1.5" water returns. I was wondering if it were water conditions as i have a heavy fish population (2 tangs, Emp Angel, 4 Anthias, 2 clowns, 2 gobies, 2 chromis, and a couple wrasse)and feed twice daily, but i would think that would effect all colors equally. My testing of water reveals, alk appx 3.1, ca of 450, ph 8.1, mg ~1350, temp 79, Nitrate and Phos measure 0.

Could this just be a placement problem? Do purples require more or less light than other colors? I should mention that its my purple acros and purple tip acros, my purple cap looks purple and is in the lower 1/3 of the tank.

thanks

i saw someone else with the same question.they had 10k bulbs and were getting washed out purples.the people were telling him to go to a 12k or 14k bulb.i have 250w 10k ushios and my purples arent as dark as id like to see.but overall there is still a fair amount of purple still showing.are the 10k reeflux bulbs your using kind of yellow to the eye without actinics or white?
