Purple tang addition question

I have had my purple tang in QT for about 4-5 weeks. I think it is time to add him to the tank. I know that purple tangs are notorious for being aggressive, but is that towards all fish or only larger fish? I am thinking that I may want to add a wrasse or blenny in the future - will he attack them? Should I get everything I want and make him the absolute last addition? Any advice/suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Only mainly towards others in the Zebramosa family .....same size shape....shouldn't have any issues with wrasses

Like with everything they are hit or miss. You might have a super aggressive one that will attack any new additions. While others may have one that only attacks tangs and other like bodied fish. It also depends on what size tank he's going in. Smaller tank more chance of aggression bigger tank less chance. Mine I've had for several years now 6 plus and he's mellowed out. I would say add him last if you want to avoid any issues.

Enjoy.....

I've had 2 purple tangs. One was great the ther one will attack everything I'll put in my tank. It really is a hit or miss. They are beautiful fish thought.

what size tank? Ive had two. They can be aggressive especially toward other tangs. An acclimation box is a huge help when adding new fish
