Purple tang, is this a problem or just normal

I picked up a purple tang last week from vivid.. Had him in QT but he wasnt doing well so took a chance and put him in my DT.. Immediately he was very happy, eating aggressively and very active swimming.

However, his bottom fin by the the rear has a very small spot that looks translucent/light white.. It is on the same spot on both sides of the fin.. appears to maybe was damaged after it rubbed on rocks or something... but I dont know.. could this be something else?

I only know what ich looks like and this isnt ich.. I searched for images of brook and velvet; definitely neither of those.. I dont know what flukes looks like...

He is eating aggressively and swimming all the time. Normal breathing. I would post a pic but the spot is so small theres no way it would show on camera lol.

Did you treat with Prazi pro or anything else while in QT? Seems like an odd plan to take a fish that wasn't doing well in QT out and put it in your display.

Well... I've never had a fish do well in QT. No many rocks and not many hiding places, small environment, etc. I brought a regal once and took a chance and put him in DT straight from DIvers Den. He did very well and still lives today. If QT, who knows maybe he dies the 3rd day.

Even when I did a tank move and had to store all my fish in QT for 3 days, non were eating at the time. They always do well in the DT, so I decided to make his life better by putting him in DT. Almost immediately he started eating and moving about as a healthy fish.

I guess my main concern is ich which is a pain to rid but flukes sounds pretty easy to rid with prazi.

Well... good news is that I dosed with Prazi last night and today the tang has no mark marks on him. Looks great!...

However, my potters angel (who was looking sick even prior to the new fish addition) has 1 grain of salt on the side... hmm not a good sign.. Last time I saw a grain of salt, it spread to all the fish. Going to keep a close eye on this to see if its ich or if its just some sand.
