Purple Tang With No Tail!

In Memoriam
Tongs has a Purple Tang in their display tank on the far left with -NO TAIL-... i mean the tail is COMPLETELY GONE and this fish is still swimming like it has no issue... it does have an outbreak of Ich, but that apparently has no affect on the fish...

can someone please explain how this is possible....
" NO TAIL!"

mutation. i see that in freshwater fish all the time.
but the ich on that fish was pretty bad. i actually would call it velvet, not ich

sooooo... ur telling me we gotta get a divorce? it was legal when we went to Utah! i dont see why, if my sister and I were to have a kid... it would be born without a tail

too bad about the velvet tho... i wonder if they would sell the the fish 1/2 off  or at least take off 1/3 of the price! :p eather way... i would want it... not every day you get to see something like that (unless you own it ;) )

I saw a chromis in Aquarium Center with no tail.. 10 seconds later the puffer ate him completely :eek2:

I think he is awesome. I told the wife when I get home I'm going to cut the tail off of her scopus tang that she has in her tank. that didn't go over very well
