I came Home from work yesterday and my girlfriend had went out and bought me a purple tang off craigslist. Well after I got him in my QT tank I noticed that his pelvic fins are almost completely missing. You can see he still moves the little peace that is till there. My question is will they grow back?

Tank is never big enough
Depending on how much of the fin is left ..If its just a nub than no ,they will not grow back ..

I hope the tang is in a QT. Buying fish from Craigslist is a big gamble.
