I am thinking about purchasing a 7" long 11+ he
ad of purple torch with green tips for my newsh 25 gallon low iron tank with a 20 gallon sump.. My question is, will it just be too big? Should I just buy one head and be done with it and buy more sps? What would you guys do? The coral is $160 is that a high price? Any advice I will really be appreciated!! This picture is not mine.

Just my personal opinion, get a smaller piece for a cheaper price. It's nice to have a variety of corals and also if it does for some reason you'd only be out $20 instead of $100+. Just my opinion !!

It looks like the shorter polyp variety (not a euphyllia expert, just an observation xD), so yes, I would probably buy it if I liked it for a 25g. I tend to prefer nice colonies over 1000 frags, even in nanos.

I cannot tell you whether $160 is high or not as prices greatly vary, to me it does seem a bit high for a purple with green tips. Ultimately it's your decision.

You could purchase the colony and frag it down to the size you like. T
hen sell or trade the remaining heads for more coral.
