Put something little heavy on top of sump glass

Hello,

I would like to add a refugium acrylic box in top of my sump glasses. The weight would be 6 liters supported by two vertical glasses (see pics).

I have never tried this so I would like to know your advise and your experience if the glass can support the box full of water for long term?

I think you'll be fine. Are your baffles 1/4" or thicker?

The thickness of the baffles is 5mm.
