Hello, Just have a quick question. I have been cycling my 12g Nano for about a month now and yesterday I tested the calcium and it was about 300, so I added Seachem reef calcium last night before bed. This afternoon I turned the lights on and the water was and still is very hazy, almost like when you first start a tank. I only added a half of a cap full after a water change. I've been using RO water and doing weekly water changes. Does anyone know what could be causing this? Thanks

Ca, Alk, and PH work hand in hand. What are the other readings? It sounds like you have a Calc rain in your tank.. Before you do anything else though we need to know your current Ca, PH, and Alk readings.

The exact same thing happened to me a couple of weeks ago.Just as you described, last about two days. My alk was 11.8 and my ca was 390 when it happened to me. I e-mailed Seachem and they said it was a bacterial bloom that happens in some systems and would (work its self out). I would be thrilled if you would e-mail Seachem At support@seachem.com and see what they say about your situation. After you get your answer I would be curious to know if it is simalar to my answer. Please repost or Email me mg426@hotmail.com best of luck
