Puzzler, one 4 the experts...glass/acrylic

Well, I've been honing my picture shooting skills by taking shots of different tanks....I have begun to notice that taking a picture thru a glass aquarium and an acrylic one yields different results. Colors seem to be just a little "off" in the acrylic tank. Has that something to do with the actual reflective/absorptive properties of the 2? Has anyone else noticed this and is there a setting correction to be made that can compensate for the difference? Thanks,

I'd expect the opposite to be true because acryllic is pretty much clear and glass has a tint to it. I've always felt acryllic tanks were better for picture taking... so what did I just do? I just ordered a new tank... glass :p But Starfire glass so it should be good.
Regarding your color cast- are the tanks you've been shooting under identical lighting?

I HATE to admit it, but I'm guessing it's not the glass, acrylic or camera...just the photographer..
