PVC Compression fittings

I need to re-plumb my return line and don't want everything shut down for the 4-5 hour cure time. I was thinking of building all the required plumbing and then using one of these to connect it back to the return line:

Never used one but it should do the trick. I would just cglue that pvc back together and wait 15 mins then let 'er rip. I don't ever wait 5 hrs before running water through it.

Same hear, glue and go. give it 10-15 minutes and call it good
