pvc gate valve

anyone got a 3/4 or one inch pvc gate valve they would sell ?

they carry them at Lowes and Menards, have you tried looking there?

I have not seen any gate valves at Lowes or Menards. I have heard Ace Hardware can special order them, but I haven't tried. I got mine from McMaster.com

The valves at Lowes or Menards are just standard ball valves.

yup. it is 3/4".

do not take this the wrong way but that is globe valve accually it is called a stop and waste because after you turn the water off you can drain the line from froming the screw on the side of the valve one of them might work for this skimmer if it was one inch it is a recir skimmer and I am only going to run about 140 gph tho it if you look inside that valve you will see the hold the water goes tho is smaller than 1/2 a gate valve is fully open all the way tho and gives you full flow of water

I've seen valves similar to what BennyZ has there, but not true gait valves.

I have a one inch. I do not want to sell it but if you need it ASAP you can take it and then repalce it for me.

I was just realy checking to see if anyone had one close they were not useing. I will order one from Mac master tueday moring they are up by chicago and i will have it wed. I should have thought ahead better and ordered last week I wanted to finish this skimmer this week end so I could take the big one i have running offline.
