PVC Glue toxic???

I'm going to be making a fish trap and using PVC glue to make it. I don't believe this is toxic, but it sure smells like it!! Could I get some verification. Thanks

once its dry, its completly safe to use in a reef tank. just make sure you ventilate well while your using it.
