PVC Glue

How soon after glueing PVC together can I run my tank water through it? I'm thinking about changing some of the plumbing under my tank and can shut off the overflows using a butterfly valve, but how long do I have to wait before I can open them back up?

I would wait at least 15 minutes and you should be good.

At least 10-15 minutes. But when I did my current 240, I let everything sit for close to 12 hours.

some say to wait for hours but i have been plumbing tanks for years and you will be fine in a few minutes . give it as much time as you can but don't worry 15 minutes will be fine .

I'd wait around 15 minutes. If you are really paranoid, I would wait about 4 hours.
