PVC Needle Valve

Anyone know where I could get one of these locally?

it is a 1/4x1/4 john Guest Needle valve for effluent control. Don't know if it is a HD or Lowes type of item.

I don't know about one of those, However since you are on a tight buget like most of us are, You could go the cheap route and go to just about any LFS or even wallyworld and grab a pack of the cheap one's like those. I use them for acclimation and there not much diffrent than what came with my GEO Calcium reactor other than in color. I think the one's I bought came like 10 to a pack for $4.95.

Stu $10 or $11 bucks I can handle. The one that came with the reactor adjusts fine, but I suspect that because of the outflow rate being about 40ml per min, maybe it gets a bit stopped up.

Should that be happening? If I just increased the rates of CO2 and effluent drip, effectively doubling both, that would keep the levels the same and give me a bit more than a steady drip through the effluent output wouldn't it?
