PVC Question

I am considering, once my sump is done, to switch over to PVC for all of my water lines. When scuring all the pipes together is there a certain reef safe glue used for this? I am planning on using 1" PVC for my application, would this be considered the normal for a 55 gallon tank?

Thanks.

well 1 inch is probably fine it really just depends what application you are using the pvc for and what pumps and how many drains etc. you are going with. just do some research into what equipment your going to use before you start drilling holes and buying pvc.

I don't plan on drlling any holes. I have an overflow box that came with a wet/dry unit and its 1 1/4" flexible tubing. I am wanting something a little more rigid. I won't have any valves or t's to redirect flow. Since the sump design is protein skimmer, refuge and then return area. I suppose I will just get 1 1/4" PVC.
