Hi, I am hoping that y'all can give me some advice on a course of action for my QT.
So here's the history:
Have had 2 clowns (perc and occ), lubbocks fairy, and a pink spot goby in QT for the past 4 months, trying to eradicate ich from my dt. They have gone through 4 weeks of cupramine. The fish have all been fine until last week. The lubbocks fairy started to act lethargic and had stringy poo. So i did some reading and treated the tank with prazi. I also bought some seachem metronidazole and focus, but did not treat the food or tank with it yet because of the ongoing prazi treatment. This morning the lubbocks is on his back and breathing very rapidly, and I don't think that he is going to make it :sad2::sad2:
Started some carbon this morning to remove the prazi (been 7 days) and was wondering if I should go ahead and treat the food with the metro/focus after I do a water change, as prophylactic for the other fish? And in hopes that the lubbocks may eat and recover? Or is metro too harsh to use as a prophylactic and should I just wait and observe to see if any of the other fish develop symptoms? Please any advice is appreciated.
