QT all dead

I have had this tank up and running for about 6 months with some of the fish in that long. List of fish
1) Clown trigger 6 months
2) Kole Eye tang 6 months
3)Flame Angel 2 moths
4) Red Elongated Dotty back
5) Davinci Clown
6) Picasoco Clown
All have been doing great getting along and eating and growing. Been in a 20 gallon tank filtration Tunze 9002 skimmer and a fluval HOB filter.
Problem started with a water change next day Piasco Clown died and the Kole Eye tang dead. No spots or marks.
Clown trigger not eating covered in ich or something one eye completely milked over. Did a floran dip instant (dip two colors in a bag.) I also treated the QT with PraziPro prior to the dip.
Next day flame angel and Red Elongated Dottyback dead no marks or spots.
Removed Clown trigger and Davinci Clown into separate containers last night place heater and air stone new ones into two 1 gallon containers, both OK this morning came home both dead, water very cloudy could not see to the bottom, tank water very cloudy could not see to the bottom, water in salt mix batch clear.
It seems to me something is wrong with the new water fortunately none of this water has gone into my DT. This water is still clean in the trash can. Ammonia badge never changed color.
I have dumped all of the water from the QT and the two containers that housed the two fish, the clown was very healthy even in the QT and the isolated container.
The only fish that showed any signs of a disease was the clown trigger and was the last to die, all the fish died before it showed no signs of disease.
Not sure what happened but it all went down hill after the 5 gallon water change, and then I did another 10 gallon yesterday. When the fish stop eating it was dead by morning. Any thoughts or suggestions.

Sounds like a rather severe toxin. What was the source of the water? Where was it kept? Any spraying?

My thoughts about the pesticides, not sure, the water in the container is still clear I have not put that water in my DT. The RO water I get from a high dollar water filter company been using it for years, no problems. The first indication was the first water change next morning 2 dead fish and one that look like ich or worse, that is when I put PraziPro and ran if for about 4 days, then I dip them another water change more dead fish, removed the last two fish, make more water to the extincting water put two fish in separate one gallon containers with a air bubbler and heater by the next day in the afternoon both fish dead and the water super cloudy.
It has to do with the SW not RO water, container in the back yard bug came and sprayed maybe it was a new guy, not suppose to spray around my stuff. been fine for a year now. Who knows. Thanks for the help massive bummer on my part and fish of course.

Yes, the reaction is consistent with poison.

+1 I would dump all that s/w and buy a new container for mixing. I wouldn't risk trying to just clean it out...

If there's a "bright side" to all of this, at least it didn't happen in your DT. Still sucks I know.

Yep a total re do, one was bad that other would be really bad. I think the new bug guy sprayed inside the trash can, they keep rotating the bug guy. Looks like it is time to get rid of them.
This hole thing was really difficult to deal with so posting did help and I thank everyone for helping.
Merry Christmas

I placed a piece of live rock in the SW mixing station prior to knowing where the problem was and now that water is very cloudy as well. What can I do with the equipment now?

I would just toss the LR (in case it absorbed whatever chemical/poison you suspect wiped out your QT).

As for the equipment, I would wipe everything down with vinegar. Then soak it in a mild bleach solution. Rinse thoroughly, let it dry thoroughly. This is one time you want to be OCD about everything.

There will be always tomorrow, I will wait for my 40 breeder to be setup first prior to buying anymore fish, that way they won't have to be in a QT to long. Some of them were going into my 120.

A bummer indeed!

Must say, though, I go in waves with QT. For a while I was getting almost all of the fish I bought successfully through the QT process (11 out of 12 into the DT over a period of about 6 months). Then I hit a rough patch and lost 6 out of 6 in fairly short order. Now I seem to be back on the positive side of the ledger with 9 fish in various stages of QT that appear to all have a good chance of making it through by the end end of February.
