I'm not sure, my new allen's damsel may have velvet. He's in QT with a Bangaii cardinal - since yesterday (24 hrs in QT). Its BB, 20g Long tank, with media from my sump and an HOB filter. Heater and Powerhead. 78 degrees, 1.022 (matched store).
Both fish are eating like pigs, and the damsel does zip around pretty quickly, I can't get a focused picture. However, he does have kind of a gold sheen to him. I'm not sure if that is his normal coloring.
I had plans to let them chill for about a week, then a couple rounds of prazipro, and then cupramine for 14 days. Is it too early to start the cupramine? Am I jumping the gun because he's eating and acting normally?
