QT Diver's Den recommended?

I bought a fish from Diver's Den thats been in your care for several months. It is a temperamental species that usually has difficulty feeding. Since its been in your care for several months and I know you guys are real good about checking your Diver's Den for any sort of disease, I was wondering if if would be a better idea to add the fish directly to my display system, skipping the QT process, in order to reduce any further stress on him? The display tank is a 300 US gallon filled with about 400lbs of live rock, with several butterfly fish and an angel.

Ralphie16,

Thank you for your recent order and question. We recommend quarantining all live items before introduction into your home aquarium. We appreciate your recognizing the care/effort we take to ensure the health of our livestock for our customers. However, delicate, fragile or sensitive fish can become stressed during transit and need extra care and handling to prevent a decline in their health/immune system. We hope that when our customers receive their purchases they will continue to take every precaution to keep these beautiful creatures healthy and happy.

Your aquarium set up sounds great! We wish you every success with your new addition.
