Im thinking of getting a starry blenny, but im trying to figure out how i would QT him? would i feed sinking pellets or something? same thing for gobies and other "grazers" that dont eat dropped in food.

I'd like to hear some expert advice, as well.

I just put a Midas Blenny and Yasha White Ray Goby in QT about 1 hour ago. I guess we'll see:)

anyone with any kind of help? im sure if i said i had a yellow tang and a hippo tang that i was putting in a 12 gallon tank i would have all kinds of responses... no one wants to help us out with being proactive here?

So far so good w/ my Blenny and Goby.

I am actually doing tank transfer; this morning was transfer #1. I may or may not do copper. I havent decided yet.

Goby is hiding all the time. Blenny seemed to be more active after I put some sheet algae in the tank rubber banded to a rock.

I did quite a bit of research on the tailspot before I bought him & found that they like Ocean Nutrition Formula 2 flakes. My goby will also eat the flakes. Some gobies are quite shy & don't expect to see much of a change with the hiding until they are settled in. Sometimes it just depends on the fish's personality too.

My goby will eat frozen mysis & seems to eat whatever I feed the tank, flake or frozen. I throw in a small piece of sinking algae wafer, less than a quarter of the wafer, twice a week for the pistol & I have seen the goby grab the entire piece & take off for the burrow.

It took me 2 weeks before I saw the goby on a regular basis & was worried that I would lose it. I think they were out foraging at night while the lights were out & the tailspot was sleeping.
