Ok here's my problem hopefully someone has a suggestion. I just noticed yesterday I have 2 fish with ich. I moved them to a QT tank but I have a blenny still in the main tank. I understand I can't get rid of the ich with another fish but If I put the blenny in a bare qt tank he'll have nothing to eat. I was told they pretty much only eat copods ect.. Is there something I can treat them all with in the main tank? I have inverts too. I bought some formalin /machelite green stuff that doesn't say it isn't reef safe but it doesnt say it is either. I understand copper is #1 but... Any suggestions?

I am in the same shoes. With the exception of it not being in my main tank.

From what I have read over the last few days I WOULD NOT treat your main tank with copper. I am going the hypo route in a QT tank. They say it takes 4-6 weeks from the last spore before the cycle is broke. Let the main tank go fallow with no fish for 6 weeks while you treat your fish in a QT. Also READ the link at the top of this forum by Billsreef.

Thanks for the reply Rm41400 I know how to treat for ich. How do I stop a Blenny from starving to death in the process?

hmm... well we will see if mine lives (lawnmower blenny) but he is in a qt along with my purple tang. All I am goin to do is hypo. So far my blenny looks good. I have about 15# of live rock in the QT tank. I decided not to treat with copper so as to not contaminate
the live rock. However my blenny is an alagae eater...

I agree, just one thing if you have LR in your QT just bring the salinity down slow, I have some LR in my QT and it will create a small amount of amonia from the die off, keep the water changes and make sure you are checking your PH constantly. After couple of weeks it should be stable. Good luck
