Qt for sand sifting gobies

What is the best way to QT sand sifting gobies? I usually run my QT with no sand as I usually treat for ich. Suggestions?

You could always put some pvc in the tank for them to hide in.

My first fish will be a jawfish, if my tank every cycles and I ever get a fish that is . My plan, based on things I've read on here, is to put a tupperware container with sand, PVC, some rubble in the quarantine tank while my jawfish is in there or any other digging type fish.

I've done exactly this. I used dry sand when I did this in case I needed to treat for parasites....if I had needed to dose I didn't want the die-off from live sand. All they need is something to let them follow their instincts...they don't actually need to feed from the sand as long as they're eating prepared foods.
