Hello All,
I will be QT'ing new fish over the next many months as I purchase them for a new 180. I have a bunch of extra live sand and live rock not needed. I understand that the invertebrates will die off in the LR if I were to use Paraguard on them. I am certainly not going to dump new fish into that large of a tank as I have already had a bought of ich and brooklynella to a total loss.
In a QT setup, can live sand and LR be used with the low dose of paraguard to an advantage for several weeks?
After talking to Seachem, Paraquard breaks down after 24 hours. Eventually when I am done with the LR and live sand in that tank... Shouldn't it be okay?
Thanks for your help!
